Following a Cabinet announcement in January 2013, the Minister has today released for public consultation proposed changes to the Vehicle Standards Compliance Rule 2002 that relate to new WoF and CoF inspection frequencies and implementation dates.

The Minister has announced a number of rule changes for agricultural vehicles that will reduce compliance costs, improve compliance and allow greater operational flexibility from 1 June 2013. Some of these changes will affect VIRM requirements
