Technical bulletin: COVID-19 recovery	When New Zealand first moved into the COVID-19 alert level system Waka Kotahi introduced a ‘stop clock’ system to allow vehicles in areas operating under level 3 or 4 restrictions an additional grace period for recheck inspections following a WoF, CoF or entry certification fail. With the introduction of the traffic light system (COVID-19 Protection Framework) this stop clock system is no longer in place and has been phased out.
