Warrant of fitness vehicle inspector application form

From 4 November 2025, the warrant of fitness vehicle inspector application form, which is currently a PDF form, will be available as an online form.

Benefits

The new online form will make the application process easier. It will allow applicants to submit the application directly, without needing to attach it to an email.

Instructions are all in the form, mandatory fields are clearly indicated, and applicants will receive a confirmation of receipt immediately after submitting.

Changes

The content and requirements in the form will stay the same, only the layout will change a bit.

The main difference is that applicants will need to complete the form in one go as it's not possible to save the form. After starting, applicants have approximately 2 hours to complete the application before timing out. This includes attaching all required documentation.

To help with the application, all requirements will be displayed upfront, at the start of the application process.

Initially, we’ll accept both the PDF and online forms and will give industry a heads up before we switch to accepting the new online form only.
