  • Information about what to do if a vehicle is presented with a corrected VIN
  • A number of changes to add clarity to how modern modifications should be treated with regard to LVV certification.

Additionally, isolation shields of certain types have been added to the table of modifiactions that do not require LVV certification.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the 1 April 2020 VIRM amendment has been modified to only include the 1 April 2020 legislated changes regarding ABS requirements on motorcycles. The other amendment changes are now delayed until the level 4 restrictions have been lifted.

This amendment covers changes to the Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Exhaust Emissions 2007 which came into effect on 1 January 2013.
