WoF online security changes – stronger passwords
To keep our data safe, Waka Kotahi is introducing new security requirements around the password you use when you log into WoF online.
As part of the change, your password will need to be 10 to 12 characters, with at least 3 of the following:
- Uppercase A-Z
- Lower case a-z
- Numbers
- Special characters
We’re planning to make these changes in May 2023, but you can change your password to meet these requirements the next time you reset your password.
Keep an eye out for an updated news item closer to the release date which will contain more detail.
