VIRM amendment previews are now available to download and view.

These amendments are effective from Wednesday 14 October 2026.

Please make sure you are familiar with the changes that are relevant to you (and remember to update your QMS/PRS Technical information record).

In this amendment includes changes:

that fix a definition misalignment with the Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Standards Compliance 2002
to LVV requirements regarding aftermarket motorcycle handle bars
to the Cardan shaft park brake sticker (and how to order the new stickers).

This amendment includes changes to emissions tables, particularly around the introduction of ADR79/05.

In this amendment includes:

updates to MRCOP drawings. There are 4 new drawings and each drawing can now be downloaded separately
updates to minimum file content and procedure documentation sheets (PDS) and their requirements
changes to the Cardan shaft park brake sticker (and how to order the new stickers)
general improvements.

Updates to Technical bulletin 5: Threshold for lifting border damage flag. These changes:

raise the threshold for when border damage flags can be removed
clarify criteria, ensuring only repairs of meaningful structural significance require border damage flags to remain in place.
