Technical bulletins (CoF)

On 1 November 2026, changes to warrant of fitness (WoF) and certificate of fitness (CoF A) frequency and inspections will come into effect.

NZTA has issued a position statement that clarifies when a heavy vehicle's recorded gross vehicle mass (GVM) may be changed, and when it must remain unchanged.

From 1 September 2027, all NC class vehicles with a cardan shaft park brake (CSPB) must pass a roller brake machine (RBM) test to get a certificate of fitness (CoF).

 

The manufacturer’s safety recall of affected Suzuki Fronx vehicles in New Zealand has now been completed and the advice not to carry back seat passengers can be ignored. If you get any questions from customers, ask them to contact Suzuki directly.
