As advised in a previous news item, we are now able to provide more detailed information about how to become a CoF inspecting organisation and/or CoF inspector. Some new requirements will also affect ‘WoF only’ inspecting organisations and inspectors in the future. Read on to find out more.

From 1 April 2014 the In-service VIRM (WoF) will no longer be on the inspection portal and WoF inspectors will need to use the In-service VIRM (WoF & CoF). Read on to find out more.

This amendment covers the new WoF expiry for some light vehicles and removal of the scratchbuilt vehicle definition, and for CoF, clarification of 12-month CoF for new light rental vehicles and changes related to heavy vehicle braking.
